Project/Location
Courland Estate (150 hectares)
located in the South West of
Tobago is ear-marked for
comprehensive development,
having regard to its development
potential for a wide range of uses.

A Structure Plan was prepared
with local participation in the
planning and development process.
This resulted in the formulation of
land use proposals and
development strategies that
address local development needs
and contribute to the improvement
of the quality of life for the people
of Tobago.

Project Description
The Structure Plan included a land
use budget, illustrative master plan
and implementation strategy. The
plan components included
affordable housing, medium to
upper range villa plots, 3 to 4 star
hotel (180 rooms) and associated
tourism apartments, sports field,
village centre and agricultural
plots.
