Project/Location
Dun Laoghaire Rathdown (DLR) on
the east coast of Ireland has a
magnificent maritime setting and
rich heritage. It has the capability of
becoming a major tourism
destination. However, to achieve
this is will require a major input of
resources in product development,
marketing and institutional
capability.

John Robinson was commissioned
to prepare an overall Vision for
DLR with the objective to develop
and expand DLR's role as a major
tourism destination. The Vision
comprised of many proposals and
plans designed to perform in a
cohesive and integrated manner to
provide a framework for the
achievement of the overall
objective.

of DLR and serve as a magnet in
attracting investment and visitors to
the area.

20 product concepts were
prepared including the regeneration
of the town centre, waterfront
